Bids to provide 'Art Supplies - Warehouse' were received from 14 vendors on December 18, 2008.  The bids of  AFP Industries, Inc., Art and Frame of Sarasota, Bennett Pottery Supply, Commercial Art Supply, Elgin School Supply Company, Inc., Highwater Clays of Florida, National Art and School Supplies, Pyramid School Products, S & S Worldwide, Smith Office and Computer Supply, and Standard Stationery Supply Company were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bid are included with the bid tabulation.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  Funds for these purchases are contained in the operating budgets of the schools and departments.
